Getting to
the Hudson Valley

Want to do some exploring in New York City?
Fly into LaGuardia or Jfk.

When you're ready to head upstate:

1. Take the subway, or Uber, to Penn Station.

2. From Moynihan Train Hall, take the Empire Service to Hudson. Try to snag a window seat! The train track is above ground with river views for the entire trip. There's also a bar cart, or you can —discreetly — byob. Tickets are $33 pp. Purchase them online ahead of time.

3. Disembark at Hudson Station. Walk to your lodgings on Warren Street, or grab an Uber if you're staying in Athens or Catskill.
If you want to rent a car, we recommend this Enterprise in Hudson.

Q: How long will it take?
The train from Penn Station to Hudson takes about 2 hours on the dot. If you prefer to rent a car in the city and drive upstate, the trip takes almost exactly the same amount of time, coming from Manhattan.
1. Fly into Albany International Airport.

2. Rent a car and drive south towards Hudson on the I-87. (Some routes from Albany may require tolls).

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Driving from Albany to Hudson takes about 50 minutes.

*We suggest looking into red eye flights if coming from California. Heading east, they're often cheaper. Plus, you can save a day of travel by flying at night and acclimate more quickly to the time change!
